About Us
Our goal at Cherokee Rhythm and Smooth is to introduce the art and fun of Ballroom and Social Dancing to Cherokee County. We pledge to make learning to dance fun and easy for anyone. Our instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your goals no matter what they are. We specialize in beginning students and the "First Dance" for engaged couples. There are no expensive contracts or pressure to buy lessons with CRS Dance. You customize your experience based on budget, desire, time commitment- it's all up to you!
"First Dance/Wedding Dance" Package:
This package is perfect for the Bride and Groom, Father/Daughter,and Mother/Son Dances. We will focus on your song, styling and technique, entrance and exit. Everything you need to make your special day memorable.
Choreography:
If you have a special event on the horizon and want a dance that is memorized from start to finish, this is the option for you. It is an add on to a personal lesson package and will be tailored to your individual needs.
Classes on Location:
Our instructors can come to your Church, Subdivision, or Civic Organization for a one night class or a Group Series. Contact our studio for more information. (Cherokee County or Surrounding Area)
Specialty Classes:
From time to time we offer classes such as Zumba, Belly Dancing, Ballet, Irish Dance, etc. Check our calendar for dates and times.
Event Classes:
Birthday Party Group Classes, Anniversary Party Group Classes, Wedding Party Group Classes, anything you can think of! Contact our studio for ideas and pricing.
Studio Rental:
Our Studio is available for rental for Private Events. Contact us for pricing and information.
- GOOD: Come to our Practice Parties on Friday nights. The only Dance Party in Canton! We teach both a Beginner and Intermediate level group class at the beginning of the session and it is included in the price of admission. Check our calendar for special events, themes and dance style.
- BETTER: Join a Group Class Series. Each Series lasts four to eight weeks and builds on itself. You can get more in depth on the dances you know or try out new dances. Combine this with weekend Practice Parties and your dancing will improve significantly. Don't forget the added benefit of meeting other Cherokee County residents who share your new interest! A new Group Class starts almost every week, check our calendar for more information.
- BEST: Add Personal Lessons to enhance your Group Class experience. Personal lessons give you the opportunity to focus on your dancing. You pick the dance style and we will answer your questions, work on your weak spots, give you added styling and technique information- anything you need to make your dancing the best it can be! If you feel you need more individualized instruction or would like to move faster than is possible in a group environment, this is the option for you. If you have an upcoming event- wedding, cruise, company party- Personal Lessons will enable you to feel confident in any situation.
